My Plantronics headset has stopped functioning since I upgraded my operating system to Windows 10. How can I fix this?Answer
It is likely that the headset's drivers are still optimized for the previous version of Windows rather than Windows 10. In order to fix this issue:Dynamic EQ, microphone frequency response 100 Hz–10 kHz optimal for PC wideband voice telephony (up to 6,800 Hz), hi-fi stereo (C3220/ C3225). Receive output from 20 Hz–20 kHz, enhanced digital signal processing (DSP), noise-canceling microphone, adjustable audio alerts with Plantronics Hub software (mute/volume). Hearing protection. It is in Plantronics Headset with its own drivers called Plantronics BlackWire 5220 Series that installed its micro and listening Plantronics drivers as well. - Press the Windows button on the screen or keyboard and type in 'Device Manager'.
- In the Device Manager window, find the Sound, Video and Game Controllers option and expand it.
- Right click on your Plantronics device and select 'Uninstall'.
- Unplug the headset and restart the PC.
- After the PC has rebooted, reconnect the headset.
