** Remark about encoding: You need to adjust the Encoding setting of language files. This is done in the preferences > tab Encoding > Language files.
For ISO-8859-x choose ANSI as your encoding, and make sure your system is using the corresponding code pages. If your system runs Turkish, Slovenian or Estonian, this usually is OK. This is a Windows setting.
Future translations are expected to migrate to UTF-8. This is more efficient in many ways and also supports large “alphabets” like Japanese, Chinese and Korean. For these types of translations UTF-8 should be chosen as the encoding for translations.
If you are using Sevilla with a version below 15.3 then UTF-8 encodings are not supported. The Encoding tab in the preferences dialog does not exist. Use ANSI encodings only with those versions.
To use the language files, unzip the contents of the Zip file into your Sevilla installation directory. Then start Sevilla, modify the settings by pressing the settings button, select the language tab and select the desired language and hint files here.
Older language files can still be used with newer versions of Sevilla. However the newer texts will of course not be translated, and always appear in English.

This utility is useful to maintain word files. It can read two word files, and reports which texts (text numbers) are in one word file but not in the other. If a new version has been released, check your existing word file to the latest English one to find out which new texts have to be added to your word file. Compare your old English version to the latest one to find out which existing texts have to be adjusted.
